Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to the $10 paid startup listing on africastartupmagazine.com (the "Listing Fee"). By submitting a paid listing, you agree to the terms below.

1. Nature of the product

The Listing Fee covers editorial review and, upon approval, publication of your startup profile on the Site. It is a digital service delivered immediately upon admin approval and publication.

2. Refunds if your listing is rejected

If our editorial team rejects your submission for any reason (including but not limited to ineligibility, incomplete information, policy violation, or quality standards), you are entitled to a full refund of the $10 Listing Fee. Refunds for rejected listings are processed automatically within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

3. No refunds after publication

Once your listing has been approved and published on the Site, the Listing Fee is non-refundable. This is because the digital service (editorial review, publication, hosting, and distribution) has been fully delivered.

4. Removing a published listing

You may request removal of a published listing at any time by contacting us. Removal does not entitle you to a refund of the Listing Fee.

5. Duplicate or accidental charges

If you were charged more than once for the same submission, or charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will refund the duplicate or erroneous charge.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We will work to resolve any legitimate issue directly.

7. How to request a refund

Email hello@africastartupmagazine.com with your order ID, the email used at checkout, and a brief explanation. We respond within 3 business days.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
